The editor-in-chief of the magazine "Football" Artem Frankov about the CAS verdict, as well as the forthcoming meeting of the FFU Ethics and Fair Play Committee.

On Monday, February 19, the decisive part of the verdict of the Sports Arbitration Court in Lausanne became known, namely:.

The Verdict of the Appeal Committee of the Football Federation of Ukraine, according to which three teams of Dynamo Kiev counted technical defeats for failure to appear in Mariupol, remains in force.

Judicial expenses are divided equally between the plaintiff (FC Dynamo Kiev) and the defendant (FFU).

So, the Lausanne court did not accept the position of the Kyivans and took the position of the Football Federation; Dynamo lost the case, and your author on the losing side in this case. Which does not at all entail a change in my position on the merits of the matter. It, this position, nothing before the verdict of the CAS, which we all have to respect and accept, moreover, we respect and accept, but to refuse - to renounce! - I'm not going to do anything. Comment on the verdict of Lausanne? I think it's inappropriate.

I emphasize once again: the decision is final, there is no appeal, the verdict took place - it's CAS! The situation is closed. How it will develop in the light, perhaps, the upcoming visit of Dynamo to Mariupol - we will discuss separately.

For the time being, three witnesses on the part of Dynamo are the first vice-president of FFU A. Bandurko, Vice-President of FFU I. Kochetov, member of the executive committee of FFU A. Frankov - politely invited to the meeting of the FFU Committee on Ethics and Fair Play (KEChI). The grounds for the challenge are collective ... Khmg, the report of witnesses from FFU V. Golub, A. Khakhlev and G. Prokopovich (three heads of regional federations), indicating that the presence on the list of Dynamo witnesses and the appearance in Lausanne is a gross violation of the FFU Code of Ethics and has damaged the image and reputation of the Federation. If this is the beginning of a witch-hunt (read - dissenters), an attempt to limit my civil right to have, express and uphold my own opinion, I want to advise comrades, intoxicated by the Lausanne success, not to get carried away by the "holy Inquisition". In this world, everything is so changeable ... ... No, I do not regret anything. Besides, of course, the fact that the court took the other side - it would be strange to experience some other emotions. Well, defeats harden and teach.

Football, then, and its true components, that clubs, that bodies, in any case, will not go anywhere; and in one fundamental confrontation we clearly became more. We will not be harmed by a couple of matches, which fans will wait with ardent impatience.

Artem FRANKOV Non, je ne regrette rien ("No, I do not regret anything") is a French song written in 1956. The most famous in the performance of Edith Piaf. However, there is not one self-respecting French singer who would not sing this thing ....
