Johnny Evans is unlikely to retain his status as captain of West Brom.
This week West Brom conducted a gathering in Spain. "Drozdy" were involved in a scandal: Johnny Evans, Jake Livermore, Boaz Mayhill and Gareth Barry in a state of intoxication drove a taxi. They arrived on it to the hotel (according to some versions, they had previously wandered around the city), and after a while the police held a conversation with them and let them go.
The club has already issued an apology on behalf of all four participants in the incident.
At this point, the "thrushes" are conducting an internal investigation. It seems that the first sanctions have already followed.
For the FA Cup match against Southampton (1: 2), the "thrushers" as captain were led by Gareth Macaulie, and not usually performed this duty Evans.
Gareth Barry also found himself at the base, Boz Maihill - traditionally on the bench, and Jake Livermore could not play due to an injury.
