Alex McLeish becomes the new head coach of the national team of Scotland.

Alex McLeish will lead the team of Scotland, reports BBC.

In this position, the 59-year-old specialist will replace Gordon Strachan, who left the national team in October. The agreement with McLeish will be calculated until 2020.

The last place of work of McLeish was Zamalek, which he left in 2016. In addition, he coached Genk, Nottingham Forest, Aston Villa, Birmingham, Rangers, Hibernian and Motherwell.

In 2007, McLeish already coached Scotland, with which he won 70% of matches.
