Head coach of Parisians Unai Emery shared his thoughts on the motives of Kilian Mbappa, who decided to go to PSG last summer.

19-year-old striker moved to PSG from Monaco on loan with mandatory redemption for 180 million euros after the end of the 2017-2018 season.

Despite the fact that interest in Mabppe showed Madrid Real, who was willing to pay for the player the same amount of compensation as PSG, Kilian decided to continue his career in Paris.

According to the head coach of Parisian Unai Emery, the young striker was not guided by financial reasons.

"It's difficult to say in advance whether Mbappa will become the best player in the world. Definitely, he has a great future, "- began Emery.

"Previously, these players left France and moved to other championships. Now Kilian stayed here.

Despite the interest from Real Madrid and Barcelona, ??PSG was strong enough to keep him in Ligue 1 ".

"I think, Mbagpe went to Paris not for the sake of money. Kiliana attracted the club's project - it was his sports component, "- summed up Unai.

In the current season, Mbappa scored 9 goals and 8 assists in 18 matches of the French Championship.
