Genoa announced that because of injuries they lost two players at once.

25-year-old central defender Armando Izzo, who played 14 games in Serie A this season, will play outside the game for about four weeks due to a knee injury.

A little more lucky 30-year-old right-back defender Aleandro Rosie, who for recovery from a hip injury will take up to ten days. Rosie this season took part in 18 games in all tournaments.

After 23 games, Genoa scored 24 points and takes the 13th position in Serie A's standings.
