Turkish Gestepe signed a contract before the end of the season with striker Demba Ba, informs the official website of the club.

32-year-old Senegalese joined the new club as a free agent, having previously left Shanghai Shenhua. In total for the Chinese club he spent 37 matches and scored 29 goals.

In Turkey, Ba already played for Besiktas, scoring 28 goals in 46 games. Also, the striker is known for appearances for Hoffenheim, West Ham, Newcastle and Chelsea.

In the current season Gestepe ranks seventh in the standings of the Turkish Super League, scoring 31 points in 19 games.
