Left-back Chelsea Abdul Rahman Baba joined Schalke on loan until the end of the season 2018/19.

Left defender Chelsea Abdul Rahman Baba will spend the next 18 months on loan for Schalke, the official website of the "cobalt".

23-year-old Ghanaian already played for Schalke, when in the summer of 2016 he joined the German club on a one-year lease. Nevertheless, in January 2017, Baba broke the cruciate ligament of his left knee during the match for the national team and since then has not appeared on the field.

Note that the current defender's contract with Chelsea is calculated until the summer of 2020.
