Chelsea failed to agree on the terms of the personal contract with Roma forward Edin Dzeko.

Forward Roma Edin Dzeko will continue to compete for the Roman club at least until the end of this season, reports Gianluca Di Marzio.

Despite the fact that Roma agreed to sell the 31-year-old Bosniak to Chelsea, Jacko himself could not agree on the terms of his personal contract with the London club.

Jacko demanded from Chelsea a contract for 3.5 years, as well as a salary of seven million euros per year. The leadership of the Blues considered such requests of the attacker excessive and left the negotiations.

However, this does not affect the transfer of Emerson Palmieri, who will move from Roma to Chelsea for 20 million euros.
