After the first gathering in Turkey, where Olympic was preparing for the spring part of the season, head coach Roman Sanjar told the club's press service about potential newcomers and shared his impressions of his team's appearances in the control matches.

- How to evaluate the first stage of preparation?.

- I think that the collection was productive. We managed to see a lot of guys on the background of good sparring partners. This gathering was informative, for many guys I made my decision.

- What kind of work did you have in those two weeks?.

- We worked on the tactical elements of the game, on the interaction in the attack and defense. Plus, tightened their physical condition. Of course, we liked the games themselves, we had quality rivals. In general, I liked this stage.

- If we talk about potential newcomers, who could best recommend themselves at the first gathering?.

- This is Sergey Kulinich and the Pasichi brothers. Some of the guys we call for the second fee, and with some we say goodbye. In addition, we had a lot of our youth. The guys tried, I think, they were interested in trying themselves in sparring with such rivals. Someone from the young guys will go with us to the second gathering in Turkey, in the coming days we will be determined with the candidacies.

- You started a series of sparring with a victory over Steaua, then there was a draw with the Crown and two defeats from Slovan and Shkendia.

How important are these results?.

- In any case, victory is needed, even at training camps. In the last match we lost, could not show a quality game. But in such games the team is visible as on X-ray. Are visible as pluses, and minuses. We need to make those selection steps that will allow us to build, in fact, a new team. We left a lot of guys, plus Anton Kravchenko decided to go to another club, this is another loss for us. We are waiting for a heavy and extensive work.
