Under the leadership of Sheringham, the defending champion of the country lost four times and three times played in 10 matches.

At the moment the team takes only 8th place out of 10 in the standings of the championship of India.

"Sheringham is no longer a club coach. Acting coach appointed Ashley Westwood, "- said co-owner Atletico Utsav Parekh.

Former forward of the England team Sheringham led Atletico last July. Prior to this, he coached Stevenage from 2015 to 2016.
