Liverpool head coach Jurgen Klopp believes that the money issue did not play a role in Manchester City's refusal from transfer of forward Arsenal's Alexis Sanchez.
At the moment, the Chilean striker is close to the transition to Manchester United, which is ready to send to the Arsenal of his midfielder Henry Mkhitaryan.
However, before the opening of the January transfer window, the main contender for the football player was Manchester City. It is rumored that the "townspeople" refused to buy Sanchez because of his ? 35m price and large salary requirements, but Liverpool coach Jurgen Klopp sees the reason for refusing the other.
"I can not say anything about the amounts associated with Sanchez, but I do not believe that the City fell out of the race for the player for financial reasons," said Klopp.
"It's not about the money. This happened for another reason.
When a player began to choose between two Manchester clubs that are principled rivals, the "townspeople" most likely thought that in this case they do not need them. I'm not sure about this one hundred percent, but it's definitely not for the money ".
"Alexis Sanchez would have strengthened any team of the world, because it makes sense to get him, why not it", concluded Jurgen.
Earlier it was reported that Sanchez could manage MJ in more than 200 million pounds.
