Legendary footballer Manchester United Ryan Giggs will coach the Wales team.
According to the BBC, today, on January 15, the Football Association of Wales will conclude an agreement with 44-year-old Ryan Giggs. The contract will be concluded not for 4 seasons. The expert himself previously stated about the desire to lead the national team.
Thus, Giggs won the competition for the post of coach of the national team from another legendary Welsh football player - Craig Bellamy.
Note that this will be the first appointment of Giggs for the role of head coach. He previously played several matches as acting head coach at the MJ, and was also a member of the coaching staff of the club.
As head coach of Wales, Giggs will be replaced by Chris Coleman, who led Sunderland in November.
