The Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) has upheld the one-match suspension of Atletico Diego Costa.

Atletico striker Diego Costa received a red card in the La Liga match against Getafe.

At first the Spaniard was warned for a rough game, and then celebrated his goal with fans of "mattress", for which he saw in front of him a second yellow card.

Atletico appealed against this decision, but RFEF decided to keep it in force.

Thus, Costa will miss the match of La Liga against Eibar, which will be held on January 13, and will pay a fine of 600 euros.
