Liverpool City Governor Joe Anderson considers the official transfer amount of midfielder Ross Barkley from Everton to Chelsea too low.
On the eve of the Londoners signed a pupil "toffee" for 15 million pounds.
This amount is 20 million less than the one that Chelsea was willing to pay on the last day of the transfer window, when the Barkley transition was estimated at 35 million pounds, but never took place.
According to the Mayor of Liverpool, Joe Anderson, the circumstances of the transfer of Ross to the camp of the "blue" must be investigated, since, in his opinion, the official transfer amount was deliberately understated.
This season, Ross struggled with the injury and did not go on the field as part of Everton, besides, the player had only six months on contract with the "toffee" - but even these reasons do not convince Anderson that such a sharp drop in the price of the midfielder is justified.
The official himself has already stated that he intends to apply to the governing football authorities of England.
"I will write a letter to the leadership of the Premier League and the Football Association of England in order to open an investigation into the circumstances of the transfer of Ross Barkley from Everton to Chelsea," Anderson wrote on his Twitter page.
Earlier it was reported that the transfer of Barkley in Chelsea blocked the way to the London club midfielder Juventus Claudio Marchisio.
