During the match between Liverpool and Everton (2-1), Holgate pushed the fleeing Firmino so that Roberto flew over the billboards to a crowd of people.

After this, the Brazilian ran to Holgate and an argument arose between them. Judging by telecard, Firmino in Portuguese called Mason a "sleepy son" and "crazy".

According to Holgate, Firmino also insulted him on racial grounds. The defender reported this after the match to Judge Bobby Madley. Also spoke with the judge and football director Everton Steve Walsh.

Holgate does not specify how exactly he insulted him.

Liverpool has already expressed its willingness to promote the investigation in every possible way, if the Football Association decides to conduct it.

It is worth noting that after the incident, Holgate deleted his account on Twitter.
