Velez Sarsfield announced signing a contract with striker Mauro Zarate.

At one time, the Argentine striker had high hopes and was considered one of the most promising players in the country in his position.

Nevertheless, Zareta did not ask for a career in Europe, because he could not become a top-level player, constantly changing club after club.

Recently, Mauro was in favor of the Dubai Al-Nasr, and now decided to return to his homeland.

According to the official website of Velez Sarsfield, the 30-year-old striker signed a lease with the club until the end of the season.

Zarate already defended the colors of Veles from 2004 to 2007 and in the 2013-2014 season.

During his career, Mauro played in clubs such as Inter, Fiorentina, Lazio, Queens Park Rangers, Birmingham and West Ham and Watford.
