Brazilian striker Eduardo da Silva arrived in Warsaw to undergo a medical examination as part of Legia, the official website of the club.

It is expected that before the end of this week he will sign a contract with the Polish club.

34-year-old Eduardo left Shakhtar in December 2016 as a free agent, and in February 2017 he signed a contract with Atletico Paranaence. Nevertheless, after returning to his homeland, the Brazilian played only nine games, in which he did not score a single goal.

Eduardo spent 173 matches for Shakhtar and scored 57 goals, and is also known for appearances for Zagreb Dynamo, London Arsenal and Flamengo.
