Wolfsburg has officially announced the extension of the contract with midfielder Maximilian Arnold for two years.
The new contract will be valid until June 30, 2022. According to the official website of the club, it lacks clausula.
Arnold is a graduate of the Wolfsburg Academy and in 2011 at the age of seventeen became the youngest debutant of the Bundesliga in the "wolves".
In all tournaments, 23-year-old Maximilian had 176 matches in Wolfsburg, which scored 23 goals.
Arnold was captain of the youth national team of Germany (U-21) for Euro-2014, where he became European Champion. In May 2014, Maximilian made his debut in the national team of Germany in a duel against Poland, but this match remains for him so far only in the main team of the country.
