Olympic coach Roman Sanjar was recognized as the best coach of the championship of Ukraine in 2017.

All-Ukrainian association of trainers throughout the year evaluated the work of mentors on five criteria: the nominal result of the team, difficulties in managing the wards, skill in working with personnel, coaching skills, as well as a cumulative criterion.

According to the totality of indicators, Roman Sanzhar was recognized as the best coach of 2017, who received a final rating of 4.18.

Second place went to coach Shakhtar Paulo Fonseca (4,16), and closed the honorary top three coach Zari Yuri Vernidub (4.02).

Under the leadership of Sanjar Olympique in 2017 he obtained a ticket to the European Cups, for the first time in history he took the fourth place in the championship of Ukraine, and in the first half of this season he is among the six best teams of the Premier League.
