Georgian midfielder Jaba Kankava moved to Tobol as a free agent, the official website of the Kazakh club.
The last place of work of the 31-year-old midfielder was the French Reims, for which last season he spent 20 matches in League 2.
Tobol finished the championship of Kazakhstan in 2017 in fifth place.
