Tragic news of the death of the coach "Dynamo" reported on the site of the capital's club.

It is noted that from 1965 to 1977 Yevgeny Kotelnikov worked as a coach in the club children's and youth football school "Dynamo". Among his pupils were such famous football players as Vladimir Bessonov, Gennady Litovchenko, Vladimir Lozinsky, Alexey Mikhailichenko, Pavel Yakovenko, Vadim Lazorenko and Viktor Sakhno.

In the period from 1977 to 1990 he was the state coach of the USSR Football Federation of Ukraine, and in 1983 he became the coach of the Ukrainian SSR team at the Summer Spartakiad of the Peoples of the USSR.

In 1991, Yevgeny Kotelnikov was one of the founders of the Football Federation of Ukraine and until 1995 he was the first vice-president of the organization.

In 1997, he returned to Dynamo, where he headed the football department at the invitation of Grigory Surkis.

Thanks to him became known, such stars as Artem Milevsky and Alexander Aliev.

As previously reported in "URA-Inform", doctors stated the death of the People's Artist of the Soviet Union from a protracted illness. Leonid Sergeyevich died of a protracted vascular disease, which led to problems with the heart. The actor died this morning in a Moscow hospital.
