Celtic may strengthen defender of RB Leipzig

The central defender of the Republic of Belarus Leipzig Marvin Comper can go to Celtic in January.

Defender Marvin Comper arrived in Glasgow for talks on the transition to Celtic from the Republic of Belarus Leipzig, reports BBC.



Celtic coach Brendan Rodgers intends to strengthen the defense center of the leader of the championship of Scotland in January by a 32-year-old defender who has one match as a member of the German national team in his track record, due to the injury of Eric Sviatchenko.

Comper started his career in Borussia M, after which he played for Hoffenheim and Fiorentina. Last season, Marvin played 26 games in the Bundesliga, 25 times on the field in the starting lineup.
