Legendary Italian midfielder Andrea Pirlo may re-enter the field in January.

The 38-year-old midfielder announced the completion of his professional career last month after the end of his contract with the club New York City.

As reported by the edition of Exitosa Deportes, Pirlo can hold one more final match before finally hanging the boots on the nail.

Andrea received an offer from the Peruvian club Universitario Deportes to play at a special event in January, during which a new form of the team and its composition for the next season will be presented.
