President of the Croatian Football Union Davor Shuker wants the match for the UEFA Super Cup in 2020 to be held in Split.
The Pole Stadium in Split, on which Hajduk stands, can become the venue for the UEFA Super Cup match of 2020.
The Croatian Football Union received a letter from UEFA with an invitation to take part in the struggle for the right to host a match for the Super Bowl, and its president, Davor Shuker, believes that Split would be perfectly suited for the role of the host of the duel.
"I believe that the Pole is quite suitable for holding a match for the Super Bowl," the official website of the Football Association Shukera. - It would be very prestigious for both Hajduk and the city. In addition, the recent examples of Skopje and Tbilisi show that it is also profitable. On Monday, December 18, we will meet with President Hajduk Ivan Kos and Mayor of Split Andri Krstulovic and discuss this issue ".
The deadline for submitting an application for a UEFA Super Cup match in 2020 is January 12, 2018.
