Dynamo school by right is considered the strongest in Ukraine, it was really possible to work with young children here. And now, at a very difficult time for our football, we have a chance to fully see the fruits of this work.
A new vector of the development of the Kiev club, which began under Rebrov, opens more and more talents. If the main discovery of the last season is Tsigankov, now the nineteen-year-old guy is attracting the attention of fans, who reminds his young hairdresser and ball work of young Lionel Messi - Nikolai Shaparenko.
Shaparenko is not a full-fledged product of the Dynamo football school. In the Kiev club, he appeared only in the summer of 2015, having made his debut and score a goal in the ULL for the Mariupol Illichivets.
But since it will be about his game in the context of influencing the style of Dynamo, this fact is not so important.
How does he play?.
Shaparenko - a clean APZ, a typical "ten", this is not the universal, which is the majority of players in the center of the Dynamo field. Instead of the player, "it's good everywhere, but in general medium" we are dealing here with a football player who clearly and skillfully performs his specific functions.
This, by the way, is the first difference between him and Garmash (due to their equal position in the Dynamo formation, these comparisons can not be avoided). Denis - the versatile person: he played both the CPZ and the opornik. Therefore, the current position under the attacker is not for him native.
Nikolay has a very cool dribbling, football intelligence, pas and, as for such a young age, performs just a huge amount of work. Further on this in detail What does he give to the game Dynamo?.
The main thing that plays in his favor and distinguishes Shaparenko from other players of this position among the people of Kiev is the variation in the development of the attack he provides.
Even at summer camps it was clear that Khatskevich had refused a large percentage of possession and total control of the ball. In friendly matches and at the start of the season Dynamo built attacks in general without the center of the field, using flanks and casts. Now we see something in between the Rebrov and Hatskevich football in the summer: the center of the field again plays an important role in the organization of the attacking actions, but the players still try to deliver the ball to the opponent's goal faster.
This determined the game Garmash. His strong point is to intelligently find the free space between the defenders or at the time make a run.
But it is obvious that the Central Committee or the Central Processing Plant does not always have the opportunity to give such a transfer, plus the marriage of passes is much higher. Here and comes to the rescue Shaparenko.
In addition to the basic functions of the creative designer, Nikolai can act as a link or an auxiliary link for the promotion of the ball.
It opens in zones slightly below the APZ position to either retain possession or minimize the risk of losing the ball.
In the last screenshot, he makes a dash for throwing, and then drops sharply lower to get the pass from the bottom. The defender naturally does not have time for such movements.
As you can see in the first screenshot, Shaparenko can go down even to his half of the field to get the ball, but he is not b2b (the midfielder from the gate to the gate - from the English. box to box), because in defense, Nikolai does not perform the function of the oporn, and getting the ball in such deep zones, immediately gets rid of him and takes his usual position.
Shaparenko thinks very well on the field and, reading the situation, often takes the most obvious, but the most correct decision.
Below is an example of a quick reaction to the defense of an opponent: while under guardianship, Nicholas had seconds when the defender was distracted to immediately make a dash into the free zone and get the ball there.
And the next moment is even more interesting. Tsygankov shifts to the center. Noticing that his zone is occupied, Shaparenko takes the flank, playing there until the end, which leads to an incredibly dangerous blow in his performance.
On the flank, he falls down and in other cases. For example, when the attack vector is shifted to this zone, and there is free space. This mobility is incredibly useful for attacking.
From individual moments, you can note an excellent pass, especially Shaparenko likes to use a pass with a pruning, sometimes it looks extremely impressive.
He also has an excellent dribbling, which really resembles Messi's ball game, when in a very small section of the field one can accomplish a large number of useful actions. The goal in the gates of Vorskla (U-21) is not only incredibly beautiful, but also indicative in the context of all of the above.
Shaparenko descended deeper, got the ball there, immediately gave it away, made a dash into the zone, figured out with two defenders and a goalkeeper in a very small section of the field and scored a goal. Almost all of his strengths in one episode.
By the way, dribbling is also one of his few cons, since often he does not assess his strength - and loses the ball. In the ULL, this is especially striking. Still, do not forget that this is an adult football.
Summarizing, it must be said that, despite all the problems of the Kiev club, they are great fellows in that they are not afraid to flirt with so young players. And the future of this guy is, it's for sure. Perhaps, already in the qualification for the next Euro we will see him in the national team.
