Vitor Pereira replaced Andre Villas-Boas as head coach of Shanghai SIPG.

Portuguese coach Vitor Pereira led Shanghai SIPG, the official website of the Chinese club.

In this position, Pereira replaced Andre Villas-Boas, who left the club to participate in the Dakar Rally.

Interestingly, Pereira was an assistant to Villas-Boas in Porto, and later headed the "dragons" after Villas-Boas left Chelsea.

In addition, the 49-year-old Portuguese coached the Saudi Al-Ahli, the Greek Olympiakos, the Turkish Fenerbahce, and the last place of his work was Munich 1860.

With Porto, Pereira twice became champion of Portugal and winner of the Super Cup of Portugal, and with Olympiakos won the championship of Greece and the Cup of Greece.
