The President of the Football Federation of Ukraine Andrei Pavelko said that already this season in the championship and the Cup can be tested video assistant referee system.

Andrei Pavelko said that the testing of the video assistant referee system (VAR) can begin in Ukraine already this season.

"We expressed our desire to join the VAR testing program," said the president of FFU. - To do this, it is necessary to fulfill a number of requirements. This applies not only to the quality of broadcasts and equipment of a special place for viewing repetitions. The relevant course of study must pass and the arbitrators.

We hope that we will be able to resolve these issues over the winter. Probably, we will test the system of VAR on separate matches of the increased complexity of the championship and the Cup of Ukraine ".

The video replay system is already in effect in many countries, and this year it was tested at the U-20 World Championship and the Confederations Cup.
