West Bromwich will offer to buy defender Burnley Ben Mi, if Johnny Evans leaves the team in January.

West Bromwich is preparing for the departure of Johnny Evans in January and identified the central defender of Burnley Ben Mi as a potential replacement for North Irishman.

In signing Evans interested Manchester City, Arsenal and Everton and the head coach of the "thrushes" Alan Pardew recently expressed fears that the defender will leave the team in the winter. West Brom intends to help out with its sale of about 30 million pounds.

Burnley is unlikely to part with the 28-year-old Mi, who is one of the key players in Sean Deutsch's team this season. Nevertheless, the BBA is ready to include in the deal winger James McClean, whom they refused to sell at Burnley last summer for eight million pounds.
