Donetsk club issued an official statement, in which he accused the players of his youth team in the deliberate surrender of the match of the championship of Ukraine.

Olympic U-21 did not finish until the end of the 18th round of the championship of Ukraine, as club president Vladislav Gelzin took his players off the field when the score was 0: 4 in favor of the opponent.

Gelsin himself in an official statement on the site of the Donetsk club explained his decision by the fact that the team intentionally lost with a large score:.

"Our analyst, whom we hired two years ago to track the movement of bets, called me at a score of 0: 2 in favor of the Carpathians. He said that at the moment there are many bets on the fact that in the second half, the hosts will score at least two more goals, and maybe more. At the same time, the coefficient for this event began to fall strongly. I immediately dialed the coaches of the youth team, learned their opinion about the game, about what is happening on the football field. They did not understand anything, they said, some players did not play at their usual level. Fears that some of the players are not honestly fighting are confirmed by ".

"After 10 minutes I again called the coaches, they said that nothing is changing, the picture is still the same. And with a score of 0: 4, after analyzing all the available information, I decided to take the team off the field so that people who might have used our players for mercenary purposes could not achieve the result. This was my personal decision.

This I immediately notified the Premier League and the Football Federation of Ukraine, "- commented on the situation, the president of FC Olympique Vladislav Gelzin.

Football Club Olympique will conduct a club investigation, following which the entire situation will become clear and further actions will be taken.
