Real Madrid midfielder Gareth Bale again experiencing health problems.

Bale only recently recovered from a shin injury he received back in September, and returned to the field in the Copa del Rey match against Fuenlabrada, where he went on to replace.

Nevertheless, in the same match, the Welshman received a relapse of damage, because of what again misses the training and does not play against Athletics.

"Nothing serious has happened to him, but, as always, we do not want to take any chances," said head coach Blancos Zinedine Zidane.

"As in many previous cases, this is the shin. We need to support him in this difficult period. We must not forget that he is an important player for us, and when he is healthy, he acts on a phenomenal level ".

It is worth noting that in 2017, Bale completely played for Real only four matches, two of which in the current season.

The match between Athletic and Real Madrid will be held on Saturday, December 2. The beginning of the meeting at 21:45 Kiev time.
