The United States, Mexico and Canada have submitted a joint bid to host the World Cup 2026, but will face competition from Morocco.

FIFA has received two applications for the World Cup-2026 - from Morocco and the joint from the United States, Mexico and Canada, reports Sky Sports.

The venue for the World Cup in 2026 will be determined by all 211 national federations, and not by the executive committee, as it was before.

The final decision must be made on June 13, 2018.

Earlier it was reported that Uruguay, Argentina and Paraguay will submit a joint application for the World Cup 2030.
