Andre Villash-Boas decided to leave Chinese Shanghai SIPG and suspend his coaching career.
Former manager of Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur Andre Villas-Boas has left Shanghai CIPG and intends to break from football.
Despite the defeat in the final of the China Cup from Shanghai Shenhua, the leadership of Shanghai SIPG offered the 40-year-old Portuguese to shed a contract for one year. Nevertheless, Villash-Boas decided to refuse, because he intends to pause in the coaching career.
According to the Guardian, Villas-Boas will take part in the Dakar Rally 2018, which will be held from January 6th to January 20th in Peru, Bolivia and Argentina, at the wheel of the Toyota Hailax pickup.
