The head coach of Manchester United Jose Mourinho in a playful manner commented on the lack of a large number of goals scored by Romel Lukaku in the last fights.

The 24-year-old Belgian failed to score a scoring goal in the match of the next round of the Premier League against Watford, while the players defeated the opponent with a score of 4: 2.

In this match Lukaku played in completely black boots without the logo of any brand, which he did not forget to mention Mourinho at the post-match press conference.

"I think Lukaku needs a new contract with one of the boot manufacturers, because now he is not bound by a contract with any brand. That's why he played in black boots.

"Romel needs a new contract so that he can receive good money. Then he again begins to score a lot ".

"If you leave the jokes aside, then he worked superbly on the team. I will never blame Lukaku for missed moments, as he is a fantastic football player and a real professional. I can not be pleased with him even more ".

"His past contract with the manufacturer of boots has come to an end, and now he is waiting for a suitable offer," - summed up Mourinho.

This season, Lukaku scored 8 goals in the Premier League.

Earlier, Jose expressed admiration for the fighting character of Romel Lukaku.
