Chelsea head coach Antonio Conte is dissatisfied with the fact that his team had only one day to prepare for the match against Liverpool.

"We returned home only at six o'clock in the morning, so it's hard to talk about some kind of rest or recovery," said Conte at the pre-match press conference.

"We only had one day to prepare for such an important duel, and I think it's wrong, but we do not have a choice. Today we had a good training and tried to prepare as best as possible for Liverpool. But one day to prepare for a big match and, especially, one day of rest is wrong. And this applies not only to Chelsea, but to all teams ".

"It was a busy week for us. When we returned from Azerbaijan, we had problems when landing. Due to a strong wind, the captain failed to land the plane from the first time, but the second attempt was successful. Honestly, it was a bit scary ".

"At the same time, you should not seek excuses, but you just need to get out and play well against a really strong opponent. This week was strange, but we need to concentrate on a serious match. We want to play well and achieve the result ".
