Striker Manchester United Zlatan Ibrahimovic said that his damage was even more serious than the public thinks.
The Swedish striker returned to the field in a 12th round match against Newcastle (4-1) after a 7-month recovery from injury.
According to Zlatan himself, his rapid recovery would cause even more surprise if people knew the true severity of his damage.
"If you knew what actually was my injury, you would be shocked that I played," said Ibrahimovic.
"It was more than just a knee injury. I prefer to keep the details secret and not talk about it ".
"I did not force anything when rebuilding, I just kept my schedule day after day. My secret is in hard daily work. My relatives know what it cost me. I worked for five to six hours a day ".
Zlatan scored 28 goals for Manchester United in all tournaments last season, before briefly leaving the club as a free agent to re-sign the contract in August this year.
