Shakhtar midfielder Bernard may return to the championship of Brazil next summer.

Palmeiras set his sights on midfielder Shakhtar Bernard of Donetsk, reports FOX Sports.

The current contract of the 25-year-old Brazilian with the Miner is calculated until the summer of 2018, so in winter he can conclude a preliminary agreement with another club.

According to the source, the executive director Palmeiras Alexandre Mattos is now in London, where he can negotiate with agent player Adriano Spadoto.

Bernard moved to Shakhtar from Atletico Mineiro in the summer of 2013 for 25 million euros. In the current season he scored five goals in 17 games for the "miners".
