Head coach Manchester United believes that in the main European club tournament teams from England are in unequal conditions with teams from other championships.

This season is likely that all five English teams will break into the playoffs of the Champions League.

Nevertheless, the Portuguese expert believes that in the further stages of the tournament a certain advantage will be for teams from other countries.

"It's more difficult for English teams to win the Champions League," Mourinho told The Mirror.

"I always said that this tournament begins only in February, while teams from the Premier League continue to play throughout the winter, while representatives of other countries approach these fights after the break".

"That is why they are in more favorable conditions".

"Also in other countries, the difference between top teams and outsiders is much more tangible, so do not go to every match with 100% readiness to score points".

"In the Premier League if you want to win from any opponent, the team must be in perfect condition and put on the full" - summed up Mourinho.

At the moment, the "red devils" lead the group A in the Champions League, 6 points ahead of Basel and CSKA.
