Sandro Wagner notified the leadership of Hoffenheim about his desire to go to Munich's Bavaria during the winter transfer window, according to Bild.

29-year-old Wagner is a pupil of Bavaria, for the first team which he spent eight matches and scored one goal before moving to Duisburg in 2008.

For Hoffenheim striker Germany played in 2016 and this season he scored six goals and gave three assists in 15 matches at the club level in all tournaments.

Sandro Wagner extended the contract with Hoffenheim until 2020, only last summer.
