"Zlatko fully justified our confidence in the qualifying matches against Ukraine and Greece and confirmed that our choice was correct," Shuker told reporters after the meeting. - We did not have to discuss my proposal for a long time, which proves that we have a common interest - the success of the Croatian national team. Now Zlatko and his team will get the most possible conditions for a successful performance in the final tournament ".

"I'm proud of what we did with the guys in the last three matches of the qualifying tournament," added Dalich.

- Participation in the World Championships means a lot to Croatia, but I will try to make it just that the deal does not stop. Together with the guys, we will try to rise as high as possible ".

Officially, Dalich should be approved as the coach of the Croatian national team at the meeting of the Federation Executive Committee, which will be held next week. However, no one doubts that this will be only a formality.
