The play-off matches do not finish as effectively as the fans would like.

The first to join was Croatia with the Greeks, who pinned 5 goals to each other. Then it could not seem that in the next 8 matches only two goals will be scored. Switzerland on the road scored in Northern Ireland, and Sweden at home in Italy.

Note that these matches took place following Croatia - Greece.

After that, six qualifying matches for the 2018 World Cup ended in a row with a goalless draw:.

Denmark - Ireland, New Zealand - Peru, Honduras - Australia, as well as reciprocal meetings Greece - Croatia, Switzerland - Northern Ireland and Italy - Sweden.

Thus, already in all six pairs of European and international playoffs, at least in one game was a score of 0: 0.

There are only three remaining play-offs left. The first of these will take place today, Ireland will take Denmark.
