English professional clubs often change mentors.

Director General of the Association of League Managers Richard Bevan said that the culture of the attitude of club owners to coaches bears serious damage to football in England.

The Air Force study showed that on average, all clubs of Premier League and Football leagues (2-4 divisions) changed their coaches 12 times in the last 20 years.

"Consecutive dismissal of managers from one club can create an environment of instability in this very club. This causes a number of negative consequences, "Bevan said..

The Air Force compiled its own "Index of Success", which depends on the number of coaches heading the club in the last 20 years, and the trophies won. The best in this indicator was Manchester United (4 coaches for 20 years), and the second was Chelsea (14 mentors). Arsenal (the only club that did not change the coach during this period) is the third.

The leader in the number of changes on the bridge for the last 20 years was Notts County (23 coaches). Crystal Palace (21) and Portsmouth (19) are among the top three.

Among all 92 clubs in the first four divisions of England, only 10 active managers have worked at the club for 4 or more years.

At once four trainers for the studied period trained 8 or more clubs. Neil Warnock and did the head of the Crystal Palace twice (except for seven more teams). Seven clubs were headed by such famous personalities as Sam Allardyce, Jan Holloway and Tony Pulis. Martin Allen coached six different clubs, but at the same time three times appointed manager Barnet.
