Chelsea midfielder Danny Drinkwater hopes to take part in the Premier League home game against Manchester United.
Drinkwater was born in Manchester and until 2012 was listed as a player Manchester United, although he never played for the first team of the "Red Devils".
After leaving United, the midfielder joined Leicester City, which won the Premier League in 2015/16, and moved to Chelsea last summer.
On Sunday, Drinkwater will have another opportunity to meet with the club, whose fan he was in his childhood, when Manchester United will arrive at Stamford Bridge.
"Yes, most of my family support Manchester United, but it does not affect my attitude to the match, and whenever I play against them, I want to beat them," Drinkwater said..
"My family can be rooting for United, but I'm sure that on the weekend they all support Chelsea".
"I feel good and successfully gaining shape.
I have to believe in the coach's plan, and regardless of whether I play on Sunday or not, it's most important that we get the result ".
Due to injuries Drinkwater managed to make his debut for Chelsea only at the end of October in the League Cup against Everton, and since then he has participated in two more matches - against Bournemouth in the Premier League and against Roma in the Champions League.
