Striker Paulo Guerrero will not help Peru in the 2018 World Cup play-offs against New Zealand due to a failed doping test.

Positive was the dope test, which Guerrero surrendered last month after the match against Argentina (0: 0), where he played all 90 minutes.

Lawyer Guerrero denies that the football player was taking any prohibited drugs, and the attacker himself noted that he took only drugs for influenza.

If the fault of the 33-year-old striker Flamengo is proven, he faces a disqualification from two to four years.
