Midfielder Dortmund Borussia Nuri Shahin will no longer compete for the national team of Turkey.

Turkish midfielder Nuri Shahin decided to complete his international career at the age of 29.

On this decision, Shahin announced on his page in Instagram, justifying him by saying that he wants to give way to the younger generation.

Shahin made his debut for the Turkish national team at the age of 17 in October 2005 in a match against the German national team, in which he immediately noted his first goal.

Total on his account 52 games in which he scored two goals and gave three assists. As part of the national team of Turkey, he played for Euro 2016.
