Chelsea central defender Antonio Rudiger shared his expectations from the away match of the group stage of the Champions League against Roma.
"We must be ready to play at their stadium, because it will be very, very difficult. I know this team. They always want to play football, regardless of the situation. What they did - came to Stamford Bridge and owned the ball more than we do, "- said Rudiger.
Rudiger himself spent two seasons with Roma before moving to Chelsea last summer.
"I spoke with my parents before the draw of the group stage of the Champions League and they told me:" Be sure, you will get Roma ".
It always happens, former players meet with former teams, "- said Rudiger.
"I'm happy to go to Rome and play with the former team. First of all, I really respect this club, because I spent two wonderful years there. I had ups and downs with injuries, but everyone always supported me. I appreciate it. But now I'm in Chelsea, I'm very happy about this and will lay out 100 percent in the game ".
The match between Roma and Chelsea will be held on Tuesday, October 31. The beginning of the meeting at 21:45 Kiev time.
