On Wednesday, October 4, in London there will be a meeting of representatives of all 20 clubs of the Premier League. The summit was called to vote changes in the distribution of income from the TV contract.

Clubs of the so-called big six (Manchester United, Man City, Chelsea, Tottenham, Arsenal, Liverpool) want to get more money from selling the rights to broadcast Premier League matches.

At the moment, revenues from TV broadcasts are distributed equally to all clubs (about 39 million pounds to each club).

According to the Daily Mail, TOP-6 clubs want to ensure that 35% of the total amount of TV-payments are distributed depending on the position occupied by the club.

Note that in order to accept such changes, it is necessary to obtain the consent of 14 clubs from 20.
