Attacking midfielder Shakhtar midfielder Marlos said that he was glad to get the debut challenge to the national team of Ukraine and admitted that he was learning the Ukrainian language.

Marlos, who recently received Ukrainian citizenship, was summoned to the national team of Ukraine for the qualifying matches of the 2018 World Cup against Kosovo and Croatia.

"Immediately I apologize, I could try to give an interview in Russian, but I need a little more time to communicate freely," Marlos said in an interview with TC Football.

"Simultaneously I am learning the Ukrainian language. I am very glad that I became a citizen of Ukraine and received a call to the national team. I'm overwhelmed with emotions ".

Recall that the Ukrainian team will play against Kosovo on October 6 on the road, and on October 9 will meet with the Croatian national team in Kiev.
