Akinfeev increased the anti-record of the Champions League

Goalkeeper CSKA Igor Akinfeev missed in the 17th consecutive match of the Champions League.

In the fourth minute of the match Romel Lukaku scored a goal in the goal Igor Akinfeev.

Thus, the Russian goalkeeper has established a new anti-record of the Champions League - in Akinfeev's account 17 games in a row, in which he misses.

The previous anti-record belonged to Ronald Vaterres, former goalkeeper of PSV, who skipped in 16 matches of the Champions League in a row.



Note that the anti-record Akinfeeva takes into account only the matches in the group stage and the playoffs of the Champions League, the balls missed in the qualification of the tournament are considered separately and do not go to the overall standings.
