President of the Football Federation of Mariupol on the air of the Great Football program told how legitimate the nomination of Grigory Surkis to the UEFA position from Ukraine.

- If the Dynamo arrived in Mariupol and played according to the rules, there would be no problems. And so - the public was agitated, the military began to show discontent. They said: "Let's all turn to the FFU with a request". Grigory Surkis is a representative of Ukraine in UEFA, but can he represent the interests of the country? We wrote a letter to the name of Pavelko with a request to provide documents on the nomination of Grigory Mikhailovich Surkis from Ukraine. There was a response signed by the Secretary General, where it was said that during the verification of no document, which would have been nominated Surkis, was not found. I did not expect this.

There was a meeting of the Football Federation of Kiev, where Kochetov collected the Executive Committee and signed all the documents. It was the 25th of December 2014. And on January 20 they sent the documents to UEFA. I called many people, I met them. And all these leaders are not aware of this nomination, they did not sign any documents. I would also like to ask the law enforcement bodies to take this into account and carry out the necessary examinations. If now they find out and prove, then the next for it should take law enforcement bodies. Because it is a forgery of documents and fraud.

It is unclear why the candidate is nominated by the Kiev Federation, since this should be done by the FFU body - the executive committee or the congress. If, God forbid, it turns out that Grigory Mikhailovich is involved in something or was framed (and I admit that his charges or the functionaries who prepared the documents could have falsified), then I'm very sorry for him.

I ask UEFA to understand. And if there is a falsification of documents, we will certainly insist on recalling Grigory Surkis with UEFA. A person can not be illegally in the highest organ of Europe and represent a country there.

This is not the war of Surkisov against Mariupol, this is a real war of Russia against Ukraine.

I will say so, understanding that there are interests in the Surkis family in Russia, there are family ties with the oligarchs, including Medvedchuk, who has close relations with the Russian president, I call it football separatism. At a time when Ukraine defends the Donbass, the same Mariupol, and unites all possible methods, football as the most popular sport, it would seem, unites the best. But the leadership of the Dynamo Kiev club works only for the disengagement of Ukraine.
