Former Albanian national team coach Gianni De Biazi has led the team of La Liga Alaves.

Italian specialist Gianni De Biazi became the head coach of Alaves, the official website of the Basque club.

61-year-old De Biazi signed with Alaves contract until the end of the current season with the option of renewing for another year.

In this post, the Italian will replace Luis Subeldia, under whose leadership Alaves started the season with four consecutive defeats. Another match, "glorious" lost under the leadership of temporary coach Javier Cabello.

De Biazi already coached in Spain, heading the Levante in the 2007/08 season.
